Last post I promised to show how to make a silver chain, "Bismarck".
It was very difficult to translate technical terms into Danish.
Therefore, I used English.
I took many pictures.
So I hope even those who speak English poorly understood my manual.
Thus, the silver cord "biskmark."
How to do it:
1. The first thing you need to take the silver.
We cast in silver bullion.
The form must be long and thin.
This is because we do a wire from it.
Billede
2. Now we use a rolling machine.
Make a wire from the bullion.
Now the wire is square in cross section.
Billede
3. Now we use the draw plate.
We need a wire thickness of 2 millimeters.
Billede
4. Now we take riegel.
This is a metal rod.
Attention! This is important!
How to find the desired thickness riegel?
There is a formula:
The thickness of the wire (we have 2 mm), we multiply by 2.5.
We need a crossbar thickness of 5 mm.
Billede
5. We stifle the riegel in a vise.
Tightly wind on a wire.
Billede
6. Now we have a spiral of wire.
Billede
7. Now we take a piece of wire is slightly thicker than a spiral.
Bend it at an angle of 90 degrees.
Use this piece to push the coils of the spiral.

8. Now we have finished spiral.

9. We Cut spiral into pieces.
Each piece is 2.5 turns.

10. Now make a chain.
Enjoying photography.
Step by step.

Fantastic tutorial - very informative and easy to understand, although it must have been incredibly difficult and have taken years of practise to get to where you are right now. Well done.

BlueRaven,
Thank you)
We have tried to write this simple.
Here in Russia, there is no place where you can buy ready-made silver wire.
So we do everything ourselves from a piece of metal.
If you are lucky, sometimes you can find and buy ready-made clasp.
If not, then all you need to do yourself.
Solder in the store are not good. This must be done by yourself.
Silver also needs to work to do yourself.
Silver is sold in granules or bullion 999.9 (clean).
Need to buy separate silver and copper, separately and make yourself 925.
Jewelcrafting in Russia is in decline.
Working here is very difficult.
This is one of the reasons why we are looking for partnerships in Denmark.

Lise Sonne,
Thank you.
In fact, it only looks complicated.
This is the first thing my husband has learned in the jewelry.

If you use this guide, and something is not clear - then ask.
If you are interested, then later I'll put here is another guide - how to weave a different chain "Pharaoh".
