Silver chain, "Bismarck". How to do it.

Last post I promised to show how to make a silver chain, "Bismarck".
It was very difficult to translate technical terms into Danish.
Therefore, I used English.
I took many pictures.
So I hope even those who speak English poorly understood my manual.
Thus, the silver cord "biskmark."
How to do it:
1. The first thing you need to take the silver.
We cast in silver bullion.
The form must be long and thin.
This is because we do a wire from it.

2. Now we use a rolling machine.
Make a wire from the bullion.
Now the wire is square in cross section.

3. Now we use the draw plate.
We need a wire thickness of 2 millimeters.

4. Now we take riegel.
This is a metal rod.
Attention! This is important!
How to find the desired thickness riegel?
There is a formula:
The thickness of the wire (we have 2 mm), we multiply by 2.5.
We need a crossbar thickness of 5 mm.

5. We stifle the riegel in a vise.
Tightly wind on a wire.

6. Now we have a spiral of wire.

7. Now we take a piece of wire is slightly thicker than a spiral.
Bend it at an angle of 90 degrees.
Use this piece to push the coils of the spiral.

Here is the video:
8. Now we have finished spiral.

9. We Cut spiral into pieces.
Each piece is 2.5 turns.

10. Now make a chain.
Enjoying photography.
Step by step.

Watch the video.
11. In this picture, I show the place of soldering.
These plot the Flüsse.

12. Welds chain.

13. Biting too much.
14. This is what we have now.

15. Use a file.

16. Grind.

17. Polish.

18. Here it is!
